| St Mungo's, Sunday afternoon |
[Jul. 29th, 2007|02:50 pm] |
*rushes through the Floo entrance to St Mungo's looking around wildly as if there was supposed to be a sign somewhere pointing to where Sally was* *curses loudly when he realises their isn't*
*interrogates everyone who comes near him that looks like they might work there about how to find her, the rational side of his brain telling him that if she was in real danger, she wouldn't have been able to owl him* *tells that side to kindly shut up and that he'll be rational later*
*looks up and down the latest corridor he's been pointing to, one hand tangling in his hair when his search proves fruitless once again*
Where the bloody hell are you, Sunshine? |

| Justin/Bella, Sunday morning |
[Jul. 1st, 2007|01:08 pm] |
*approaches her cautiously, wondering if she’s calmed down enough to reason with yet* *sighs as he walks from the bedroom, looking around, half expecting a sneak attack from her at any moment* *makes it into the lounge before he finds it, his favourite blue jumper...ripped to shreds*
Bella!
*turns at the indignant ‘meow’ behind him and places his fists on his hips* Was this entirely necessary? *holds up the remains of his jumper* I know you weren’t overly thrilled with the conversation but, honestly
*banishes the jumper to the rubbish bin in the kitchen and stares at her* Bella...
*raises her head and blinks her eyes at him once before slowly setting about giving herself a leisurely bath* *pays him no more attention than if he were a stick of rather repulsive furniture*
So, you’d rather I keep leaving you alone for nights at a time? Only stopping by long enough to clean your box and set out food? *drops onto the sofa* If you’re content with that and want nothing to do with the grounds and trees at Sally’s, not to mention the field mice in the wood nearby, who am I to...
*breaks off when she lands in his lap* *looks down at her* I’ve your attention now, do I? A little more prepared to listen? *takes the slight purr as assent* The way I see it, we can all find a way to co-exist at the cottage or *stops when Bella slips under his hand, making him stroke her sleek back* That’s my girl.
*sits back on the sofa, hand moving from the top of her head to her tail in her favourite long, sweeping strokes* *grins as he pictures the look on Sally’s face now that Bella’s given her meow of approval to the idea* *hopes that Cat and Olive are similarly agreeable as waking up in an empty bed is getting quite old, quite fast* |

| Sunday Evening, St Mungo's [complete] |
[Jun. 17th, 2007|08:26 pm] |
*stops briefly to speak to the woman at the welcome desk before making his way hurriedly to the ward she'd indicated* *looks around for Blaise or anyone else that might be able to further direct him* *skids to a halt when he sees Zach's name on a temporary sign outside a door*
*pushes the door open and peers inside* Hello? Zach? |
|
|
| (no subject) |
[May. 10th, 2007|08:27 pm] |
*leans back on the sofa, his arm loose around Sally's shoulders as the quiet of the house steals around them* *thinks it was another somewhat successful evening as he's still without grave bodily harm* *thanks whomever's in charge that Mr. Perks isn't a Legillimens*
*leans over and presses a soft kiss to Sally's temple* Going to miss it when we're back home? |
|
|
| Thursday evening, Justin's flat |
[Apr. 25th, 2007|08:22 pm] |
*takes up the containers on the table and carries them to the counter, ready to be packed away into the fridge for breakfast next morning* *smiles across the room at her feeling the hike in his heartbeat and the happiness that he can finally accept it for what it is*
If you've time before you go back to the cottage I've picked up a perfectly terrifying movie for us.
*crosses the room to stand behind her, hands on her shoulders* |

Sunshine,
Ah. I was going to surprise you with dinner for your birthday when you came over for your present, but. Ah. Well, I reckon there's a reason I don't normally cook.
Is the oven supposed to belch out black smoke like this?
How about takeaway?

| Quality Quidditch, Saturday afternoon [complete] |
[Apr. 7th, 2007|10:27 am] |
*walks slowly down the lane of Diagon Alley towards the shop* *half of him wants to turn back around and go to the flat, he doesn't want to know* *the other half can't live with the not-knowing that kept him tossing and turning all night long*
She's your mate, your very best one *mutters to himself* and that's all. You've no right to be upset that she went out with Summerby. You should be happy for her.
*as his hand closed on the doorknob to the shop he takes a deep breath and plasters a smile on his face* |

| Sally-Anne's, Sunday afternoon [complete] |
[Mar. 25th, 2007|02:35 pm] |
*leans heavily against the doorjamb to Sally's, trying to shed away the last tendrils of luncheon with his parents, sister and brother in law* *the weight of it still presses in on him, the strength of their unspoken disapproval*
*mutters to himself* Didn't help matters by telling them the back garden has a ghost, did you, Justin? Brilliantly done, really. Full marks.
*straightens up and knocks on her door, determined to find some good in a day already tossed to shit, knowing Sally-Anne's the only one who...stops that line of thought immediately* *he's only here to check and make sure she did as promised and got some rest, after all* |

To: Sally Anne Perks, Quality Quidditch Supplies From: Justin Finch-Fletchley, Owl Office, Diagon Alley
Sunshine,
Yes, I know I just left the shop. But I also know that you're riding the caffeine wave again. Swear to Merlin you were nearly crawling on the ceiling.
The enclosed is for you to be used in lieu of your next bit of coffee. Give your body a shock and give it something with more health benefit than giving your heart an artificial workout.
I'm stopping by tomorrow before going out for the weekly interrogation. If you don't look even somewhat rested, I'll be dragging you home and locking you in until you do.
~J
Enclosed in a small box is a few packets of herbal tea with vitamin infusions |

| Sally Anne's, Sunday evening [Complete] |
[Mar. 18th, 2007|08:00 pm] |
*arrives right on time outside Sally Anne's, a small gathering of freesia in one hand and a bakers box in the other*
*raps on the door a few times* *grin already spreading across his face, though tinged with the slightest bit of unease in case she starts on that topic again*
Open up, Sunshine. I'll be mugged for the bakers box soon. |
